We've been overdue for some kind of major new Gundam video game effort. It feels like it's been more ripe for it than ever, but stuff like Gundam Extreme Vs series are hard to get into (even if they're good) and Gundam Battle Operation was hopelessly outdated the day it came out.

I'm not sure how I feel about it being an Overwatch FPS thing, but I'll keep an open mind. It's surprising and rather nice Turn A is one of the few actual Gundams available from the start.

I'm happy to see them starting to branch out and put some Gundam stuff on PC outside of just Japan. I would probably still be playing Battle Operation 2 or Gundam Versus if it was just on PC. Hopefully they'll start bringing more over if this does okay.

This reminds me of the first Gundam game I ever played, Rise from the Ashes for the Dreamcast, which was usually in a first-person view.

This looks marginally better then the typical multiplayer Gundam games that they've been making but it's still nowhere near what I've been wanting for a long time now.

I just want a single player Gundam game that follows the storyline of a single series heck it could be a new timeline for all I care but I have little to no interest in a multiplayer focused game.

This looks surprisingly good. It looks like a high mobility fps which is a breath of fresh air after all of the boots on the ground garbage. I'm incredibly surprised to see this in a Gundam game, and I'm equally surprised to see a PC centric Gundam game.

No idea how their microtransactions work, but I'd consider whaling for Freedom.

If they're going for e-sports, then it has to be PC first

No it doesn't. COD for most of its esports life was console focused until xbox or sony stopped sponsoring them.

The largest e-sports money now are on PC - that's where many sponsors are

That'll change now that Sony and Microsoft have new consoles to advertise.

If they gonna do it, they can't do it by themselves. They gonna need some help

There's so many extra sponsors on PC e-sports, the likes of Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Microsoft too, MSI, EVGA, ASUS, Razer, Corsair, Logitech, HyperX, Riot, etc. All that sponsors; all that monies. Where the monies are; where all the best competitors are
