Hopefully, this will lead to a translated version re-released for sale outside Japan, eventually.

And if this could help lead to the anime getting a re-release, well, I'd be a pretty happy camper. If that ever happens again. Very Happy Laughing

I enjoyed Pluto, and am delighted to have a chance to read Yawara!. Having his other works available in digital form will be less of a burden on my overflowing bookshelves.

Glad to be able to read Monster because some of the volumes are out of print.

Also hoping this leads to English digital versions, as well as a rescue of the Monster anime.
In addition, George Morikawa, author of Hajime no Ippo was influence by Urusawa today to also allow digital versions for Ippo. I really hope this will help Ippo get an English release (and my favorite translator David Evelyn has been asking to do it even though it’s 100+ volumes heh).

Man, I hope this means Kodansha USA can finally license Billy Bat. I also hope Viz can release digital versions of Monster and 20th Century Boys, because finding physical copies is a chore at this point.

Didn't Viz just put out 3 in 1 compilations of 20th century boys?

2 in 1 and some of the volumes need to be reprinted and we don't know for sure if Viz is going to.
