Happy to have confirmation for a 3rd movie, but I wasn't expecting a Knuckles series.
I wonder if they'll introduce the Chaotix or expand on the Echidna mythos.

I hope Metal Sonic's in the third one. He was always my favorite Sonic villain, and I think he'd look really cool in CGI.

I hope the second Sonic movie is really good. It seems pretty cool based on the trailers, but you never know.

I'm rooting for Shadow to make an appearance. He's one of my favorite Sonic characters.

A third movie is pretty much a given with how successful the first movie was and every franchise nowadays has to be a trilogy for some reason. I'm excited for it but also not sure how I feel about a Knuckles live action TV show. I'm excited for the concept but I hope live action Sonic doesn't eventually replace animated Sonic. I know we at least have the upcoming animated show on Netflix but it kind of feels like Paramount+ is making the Knuckles show to compete against Netflix with their own Sonic TV show.

It is kind of interesting that Netflix has their own Sonic cartoon in the works when Paramount+ is trying to become the new home for Sonic content.

This also could be how they introduce Rouge into the Sonic Cinematic Universe.
