I still can't get over that they all look different in the live action version. Wasn't identical sextuplets the whole gimmick?
I guess finding an actor who could play six roles in one film might be a bit tough, but it's far from impossible. Japan has a lot of talented actors.

I think the money takes a big part in that issue. The same actor doing 6 different roles would be very expensive for editing (and exhausting for the actor xD)
And even if the initial gimmick was that they were identical I think now is not so much that, but just the comedy. (But I see your point, nevertheless)
