I am not a fan of the shota hungry maids, otherwise I liked the first episode mostly because of how quirky it was. Lloyd is a magic maniac and due to his hunger for new kinds of magic he is an overpowered luncatic that is amusing to watch. Having a demon familiar will probably make for some fun situations too, finally, the animation is pretty good.

Yeah, quirky is very much the perfect word to descibe the show thus far. Every character is a bit out there and Lioyd is chief among them with how much of an insane magician he is. Seems like the fights are not so much about winning but rather about what kind of nonsense the mc will produce.

Is it bad that I am kind of into this? Especially kind of with the cute boy concept, as most usually fit the bratty type. Maybe if he wasn't such a child body, but it does feel like it is treating him in ways not usual for male characters, while at the same time doesn't feel like it is making a joke about being a boy, and also really strong. The more silly animation also has a lot of character too.
It is kind of just fun to watch with some of its animation. |

Every episode is such an over the top joy to watch. This week we had a very amusing battle in which qi got a change to shine and the second half was all about cooking up some enchanted weapons. I get the feeling that said weapons will turn the monsters into sashimi next week.

Yup, those enchanted weapons are really sharp and dangerous. That said, Sylpha wielding one of those swords with her ridiculous swordplay is a straight up menace. It is fun seeing the ugly bunnyish looking demon getting dealt with. Given that Lloyd is messing around with a new type of magic I expect things to not be over yet though.

while this show has some major issues and a lot of it is typical isekai slop fest stuff, at least the anime seems like the folks making this were having fun. It's one of the better animated shows this season and it would be a lot more fun if it didn't have such a shota complex.
like, so much of this anime's animation quality does help make it stand out more than it normally would. |

It has issues yet it is a very fun and well animated show with lots of quirky characters. There is something to be said for a show that just lets the crazed mc run wild and do whatever he wants while meeting one weirdo after another, the fights looking great helps too. This week's episode is the perfect example of just how fun and crazy the show is. You can really tell when the studio making an anime is having a blast.

Sometimes you have one of those episodes where things are going way too well and you know the other shoe is about to drop. This week's episode was the perfect example of just that: showing happy memories and a comfy ending to then smash it in your face and laugh.

Yay for the news of a second season since I really liked the first one (that is now complete). It had great animation, quirky characters, lots of absurd jokes and never failed to entertain and be absurd.

The show is not all that popular over here but I am glad to have it back. The second episode showcased why Lloyd is such a fun overpowered mc. You know that he will always win yet the way he utterly breaks the different types of systems he comes across (such as magic and ki) is very entertaining to see. His sword of divinity somehow ended up being a god of destruction. That priest is so sus that the show does not even try to hide it.

The segment with the pig wanting to be endlessly eaten reminded me of the bread scene from Humanity has Declined. Slightly less disturbing yet still disturbing enough. |

That episode was a random silly episode, the two fakeout intro's parodying crap Isekai series naming cracked me up, the black and white where the character knows the shows gone black and white.

I have liked most of the second season thus far and many of the fights have been a joy to watch but I am over long flashbacks and Escher's ''singing'' . |

That was a fun second season. The show is still very basic story wise but it delivers solid over the top fun and it is always a joy to see Lloyd break logic even more.
