No surprise about the CE, Japan's releases were at the end of February so this and it's 4k disc will probably get the same wait that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero had and, assuming Crunchyroll plans to release it's 4k, One Piece Film Red is at currently.

The original series was released twice on DVD, first by Toei through Geneon in 2005 then again by Cinedigm in 2015. Both of which were incomplete and also had problems so if anything, this will be the first Slam Dunk physical release that should turn out okay.
