Almost $50k against a $12K goal. This is why so many publishers seem to be relying on Kickstarter these days. Of course, no one is topping GI Joe ($3.8 million for a $50k goal) any time soon.

Luckily for you there is a "delayed pledge" for Galette - you can still back them! This is for the digital edition only, but since you really want to support this creator-owned, crowd-funded quarterly Yuri manga magazine, you still have a chance. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1118596641/yuri-comic-magazine-galette-english-edition?ref=project_tweet |

Of course you could just go to the kickstarter and read what the campaign was for. That's always a good place to start. Galette is a Yuri manga magazine. The kickstarter page lists the series and creators that will be included in the first 6 issues of the magazine, which is what this campaign was for. If you want to support Galette which is creator-owned (so they get the money directly) and crowdfunded in Japan, as well, you still can with a delayed pledge for digital edition. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1118596641/yuri-comic-magazine-galette-english-edition?ref=project_tweet |

I know NOT EVERY crowdfunding ends with the company stabbing the backers in the back (Pun surprisingly not intended) and not releasing anything. BUT I hope it wont happen here.
