I've noticed a recent shift in manga/anime with older protagonists. I guess it's because Japan is getting older and having less kids so they need to appeal to older audiences

Well the preview animation swordfight looks quite nice. If they can keep it to those practical levels of fighting then I could find myself enjoying it quite a bit. What I would expect is it devolving into much more powerful then you tropes that eliminate the struggle of actual fighting down to effort noises. But if it defies the low expectation with well thought out combat then that is quite a step up from the usual all the girls falling for the mans big power level.
The artist (or author) apparently really likes boob windows going off the art. |
