Oof the CG stands out like a sore thumb. And some other aspects clash with each other from an aesthetic standpoint too imo.

It looks like a fantastic adaption! Bones is already knocking it out of the park!
Also it's just really cool to see a major Battle Shonen propety by a female mangaka and to get into the creative process. |

Being "used to it" doesn't mean you have to like it. It depends how well it blends in with the 2d animation, and some studios are more skilled than others at doing that. However, the motion of most anime CG that is most jarring though. It's so unnatural and stiff that it sits in the uncanny valley, at least for me. It's why I cant watch something like Beastars no matter how much praise it gets. |

Big agree. Some people just need to get over themselves. If all you're going to do is comment and talk shit about a thing instead of adding something constructive to the conversation then I feel like you should just pause, take a deep breath, and think about whether or not you really NEED to hit that post button. I do it get it. I don't really like heavy CGI in anime ether. But if I have to watch a trailer multiple times to even catch the CGI use then it clearly doesn't stick out nearly enough to be a problem. |

Nah the MC have anger issue and it's reminds me of other anime. i don't like that type of Anime. Also those CGI are awful

Of course it's not an issue when you have to watch the trailer multiple times to even catch the CGI use, that's because you're half blind and need glasses, because the CGI in the trailer is the opposite of that, it's blunt, it's prominent, in your face and it's terribly done. Imagine saying "I need to watch the trailer multiple times to see the CGI" when the CGI are huge monsters the size of the entire screen having close ups several times during the trailer- please check your eye sight prescription it's clearly not well. |

Wow, its almost like the uncanny monsters made from trash are suppose to be weird and uncanny. I didn't catch that they were cgi because I was too busy enthralled by the rest of the trailer. When I saw it was just the trash monsters I immediately clocked on to it being deliberate.
I'm not going to get into a massive uncivil argument on these forums but I'd appreciate it if you cut the sass about me being half blind. |

I really want to get into the manga but it is a shonen and shonen is notorious for over staying its welcome and running for far top long (COUGH Fairy Tail, COUGH One Piece and COUGH Detective Conan). Shame because I like the artwork. As for the anime, I won't watch because the art of the manga blows the animation out the water. Plus there is the issue of pacing and possible filler.
