Capcom fumbled so bad with Infinite that Marvel went with someone else Laughing

Well in this case it was Playstation Studios who approached Arc Systems. And the issues that plagued Infinite wasn't Capcom's fault to begin with.

Not to mention there have been Marvel Exclusive Fighters before this. The last one was Xbox 360/Wii U game that clearly some people have forgotten. And Rise Of The Imperfects so it’s very likely this game’s existence had little or anything to do with with Infinite’s 2 million in sales.

There's 4v4 fighters now? No thanks. Don't think I can stand half a dozen characters flying across the screen at all times launching attacks out the arse.

I'll just stick with my good old 1v1 fighters. Children of the Atom is quite lovely.

Whoa, this reminds me of Marvel Super Heroes fighting game from Capcom a lot. So if Arc System is doing this, does this mean we get to have Marvel vs Blazblue (or a Marvel vs Guilty Gear) crossover fighting game in the future that plays like Marvel vs Capcom? That would be a crossover I didn't expect to see, and if Capcom decided to jump in amd get on it and crossover with Arc System, does this mean we can Marvel vs Capcom vs Arc System title in the future (although I like to see a Capcom vs Arc System fighting game first)?

Given the seemingly low sales of Blazblue Cross Tag Battle highly doubtful.

Am cautiously optimistic about this. Strive and Granblue have been great as of late, and I'm interested in seeing what Arc is able to do with the characters since MvC3U didn't resonate with me as much as MvC2 did.

Just Playstation and PC?

That's too bad.

Arc Systems Work Marvel fighter? Yes please! Netherealm better step it up on the DC side.

Also:

Yuichi Nakamura - Captain America

Ms. Marvel - Akari Kito

Storm - Miyuki Sawashiro

Dr. Doom - Takaya Hashi?

It seems like they're using a lot of the MCU dub voices but it doesn't sound like EnoJun as Spider-Man.

Ever since the Fantastic Four license became less complicated, the next Marvel fighter needing 4v4 became inevitable. Anything less would feel like an awkward cop out. "Oh boy, I can pick all of the Fantastic Four! ...but only three of them!!"

Or having Arc System working on a Marvel vs Arc System which can include both Blazblue and Guilty Gear which could help and revive Blazblue. Hey, you never know.

Uh, just a little FYI: there's been rumor of Netherrealm Studio possibly working on a Marvel fighting game that will play very much like DC's Injustice for quite a while now (since 2021). It's been rumor this Netherrealm's Marvel fighting game is being created for PS5, & Xbox Series X/S. If this is to become a thing, it could open up to a Marvel vs DC fighting game (one that would shock and rock the fighting gaming world and the comic book superheroes fandom) from Netherrealm in the near future. I mean you already have DC vs Marvel (1996 comic), and JLA/Avengers (from 2003/2004), both of them are ripe for their storyline that can be adapted into Marvel vs DC fighting game from Netherrealm. Lastly, there's been talk about another potential crossover between DC and Marvel as predicted by Doomsday Clock. So maybe a Netherrealm's Marvel vs DC fighting game wouldn't be that far off in the near future.

Oh, and DC and Marvel has just re-released/re-printed their past crossover comics in a omnibus collection format late of last year. So yeah, I'm predicting Netherrealm's Marvel Fighting game could be a thing and could end up leading to a Marvel vs DC fighting game from that same studio.

IT'S MAHVEL (and only Marvel, no guests allowed) BABY!

Man I have never been good at fighting games in my life and I'm still hyped for this. I'll probably buy it like a sucker and get my ass kicked all up and down the streets online.

Having a 4v4 battle probably means the roster size for this is gonna be bananas. But seeing Ms. Marvel has me excited that we can get more than the usual suspects (lookin at you, 90s X-Men roster!) in the game.

Between this and Marvel Rivals, Asian studios are pretty much carrying Marvel on their back it seems..

To be fair SNK is super obscure so it's not surprising people don't know about it... and the later games used 3 person teams rather than 4 so even they abandoned that.
