Not surprised, they basically introduced the main villain in these last few episodes.

Can't wait for season 2! Especially with how great season 1 was!
I just wonder if they'll speedrun through to the ending of the manga.

I think they can wrap it up in two seasons, if season 2 is two cour.

Good news indeed, I prefer Vigilantes over MHA main in quite a few aspects.

I have to admit my interest for Vigilantes drop down a lot with the last arcs of the manga, specially the main villains. It was fun having "vigilantes" fighting the system (or something like that), with issues and matters uncovered by MHA. The bigger they go, the more bored I became.

1/3 got adapted, so you can do the math. 26 more to go but don´t ask me why a prequel that has zero effects on the outcome of the main series will be concluded after MHA. Weird.

1/4 was adapted, not 1/3

I figured this would get renewed but I'm glad to see the news nonetheless and particularly to get a date too.

It is less a prequel than a side story really. And the source material was written way before anyone knew how the main series was going to end, including the author (who keeps dumping stuff online to add to the ending and notably refuses to rule out either a sequel series or another run to flesh out the stuff between One For All battle and the flash forward).

The thing with Vigilantes is that most of it its... well, useless for its conclusion since it comes from nowhere, they can adapt the Mirko arc, just because it's the best arc, and then go straight to the final arc.
Always knew this would be 25 episodes, its was announced somewhere, so my thought was that it would be 25 and a movie.

It's not gonna be any kind of all-time ranker for me, but this is one of the only shows I've consistently looked forward to this season, so glad to see it's continuing on. The current OP's an absolute bop, though; hope the next one can compete.

Interesting that Pop looks more like her manga design? I wonder if that was intentional.

considerig that this series only have like 14 volumes of the manga, that has me worried. for that villain is not supposed to show up on a regular basis until after aizawa's friend dies and becomes kurogiri, as well as that man making pop into a villain!
i mean the fact that all might will be in the cast line up will mean that they will show all might's detective friend begging him to save his sister makoto from the collasping tokyo tower & getting kotichi's help to do so!
they are definitely going to rush this, and i fear that it might end up being just as bad if not worse than the promised neverland season 2 which was rushed as hell so badly that it completely bombed any chances of a comeback ala FMAB

I’m glad Bones Film is making a second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. Now that the first season is done, it’s finally time for me to check it out.
