Out of all of the games people wanted to be announced at the Direct this was one of the most eagerly awaited, and its that the Persona series has had an complicated history on Nintendo consoles, and I remember many were disappointed when P3R skipped the original Switch considering it didn't looked that different from P5R which did arrive on the console, but it seems people aren't too happy with they way Atlus handled P3R release on the Switch 2, it won't include the DLC, the performance seems worse than on the PS4 despite the Switch 2 having some advantages over it and maybe most controversial is the fact that it's releasing on a Game Key Card.
With all of those factors working against it, it's difficult to predict the sales potential for this port. Can't imagine people who already played the game and bought a Switch 2 buying it again just for the portability, I'd guess SEGA/Atlus will be marketing to people who enjoyed the Persona games ports on the original Switch and already moved to the Switch 2, but I don't know if there's a big enough audience.
