This has of one of most fascinating movie runs I've seen for a Netflix anime movie ever. The sheer dedication of people keeping it on theaters is nuts! It also helps there's a good, constant stream of fanart being made on the side!

I really need to finish the movie, watched most of it on Netflix but kind of got interrupted with about a half hour left and just never returned to it. So far it's pretty, "Like it, don't love it."

For a film that almost don't made to the cinema (i mean, not expected to) making 2 and half billion yen is ridiculous, really impressive.

Watched, rewatched after inciting a friend and absolutely loved it, easily one of my favorite films from this decade ( not that it was hard ) , now that said it's really all about the aesthetic and the characters' dynamics, everything else is rushed like most original work in film format, it still managed to give me watery eyes during the last 20 mins, I'm always weak to those faithful characters who went back in time for whatever reason and then spent centuries or millennia until the day they could meet again with their precious person, i have already prepared the tissues for Tensura's Chronoa arc.
I need more of Kaguya's antics and the cute otokonoko.
