Why not just make an excel spreadsheet?

I tried, and it didn't work like i wanted it. I'm not so good with excel, if you can turn me in the right direction where i can see an instruction on how to make an organizer, well i might use excel. But i don't have time to learn other things..

Well, all I've been doing for the past few months is updating a word document about what I've seen, what I'm currently watching (and ep #), and what I dropped and have on hold.
I think it works the best cause you have the flexibility to put whatever you want on there and edit it easily. |

I've been doing something somewhat similar to this for the past 3 years, as well as keeping updated lists on ANN and AniDB (AniDB's system is similar to My Anime, but slightly different). I've looked for a better method/program, but have yet to find one. |

Personally, I rely on this little program here. Technically, it's meant to be used for cataloging your stored fansubs, but it's not too terribly difficult to fudge its settings in order to turn it into a rather nifty little offline MyAnime. Like so.

So far I'm liking the program...but the entire right side is cut off for me (like the thing that says "actions")....any suggestions? |

I just use the site DVDspotand its lists and wishlists to track my anime, movies, shows and all that. Easiest method would just be a text file or spreadsheet you'd routinely edit.

If you already have a list on ANN, you can save a lot of time by selecting the list and using copy/paste into Notepad, then copy/paste from there to a Word or Excel file.

I just use excel, that way it's easy to have a similar list for anime dvds I own, manga scanlations, and manga GNs.
