did a search for this anime since i thought someone would already have created a topic but it wasn't the case.
Anyway, I just watched the OVA and i found it really good. Perhaps a bit rushed since a lot needs to be told in 4 eps but still, it was worth my time  . It would have been better if it would have lasted 12 or 13 eps to explain a few more things  .
But unfortunetely, the biggest turn-off of this series was its ending spoiler[Zeorymer blows up the base of the Tekkoryu and that's it, there is no aftermath  ]
spoiler[What happens to Miku and Masato, did they die, survive? Is there a love-relation between Miku and Masato? Does Masato gets back to his former self or did Masaki get back? A lot of questions still remain unanswered ] |

I got into Zeorymer thanks to SRWJ (the thing is a monster and pretty much godlike in both that and MX). The problem with Zeorymer was there was too much story to tell in too little time. The idea of Masato/Masaki was really cool, but because of time constraints that concept along with certain character relationships really suffered. And really every enemy was just a chance to showcase Zeorymer's power. Really I think it would have been better if there were some grunt units for Zeorymer to take on. That way the actual villains would have carried more weight since they would seem more like generals (read: bosses). My big issue with the OVA was that the enemies came to Zeorymer. Not once was there really a counter-offensive, and honestly you wonder why they didn't just storm the base all together. And as stated the ending was rushed spoiler[(so Zeorymer just teleports to the Tekkoryu and that's it? So what?)] Not the most climatic finish. As far as the other questions I'd have to watch it again, but I'm pretty sure it's a typical happy ending. Once again all of these problems are really because of the time constraint. Even if it was extended to a mere 12-13 episodes it could have been much better than what it was.
