Since some people seem to have trouble adjusting their grammar to fit our rules of conduct, I've added a few word censors to "censor" words into being properly spelled.
It should not affect most people's writing, as it only affects a handful of words in specific usages. For a list of the words currently modified, please see here. This change does not allow you to be slack on your grammar. Please note the following rule: 3b) Some semblance of proper grammar (periods and capitals at a minimum) is required. If you're too lazy to properly type what you have to say, say it elsewhere. If English is not your first language, please make a note of this in your first couple(5) of posts, such that the admins & other forum dwellers do not mistakenly assume you are lazy. You will still be expected to try to write properly (within your ability). However, in the meantime, this will clear up some of the issues we've been having with new users ignoring the rule and posting netslang-filled messages. While we appreciate new users, we desire a modicum of respect for the English language. |
