Hi all new to these forums although have used the website in the past. but i need a little haelp i'm a little stuck on what to watch atm.

Have recently watched hellsing, fate/stay night, aquarion, eva, geneshaft, Zombie loan (upto part4), claymore (upto part17), just started watching blue gender and a few others that names don't come to mind atm Smile

I'm basically looking for something along similar lines to watch basically fanasty, horror, and some sci fi (mecha stuff if it has a good storyline). Open to other stuff too aslong as it isn't childish like digimon and stuff.

Anyway hope you can help me out. Thanks in advance

PS something like fate/stay night but with a happy ending would be awesome

Oh just noticed the no recommendations post, but i have looked at the top rated worst rated etc stuff but it isn't very helpful as it's genres i'm after so if someone can point me to a website that has series in genres that would be good Smile

Try the 10 favorite and 5 least favorite anime thread.

animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11273&start=960

Its huge so its easy to find someone with similar taste and find more stuff from that. Or you can even just get a general idea of whats generally good.

Not knowing what you've watched in the past, i'll leave a few links of stuff you will enjoy if you have not already seen:

Code Geass- It's only just reached the end of it's first series. Very good twists in it for you to be kicking about over. Also a mecha series as requested. Good Sci-Fi seres. The only problem withthis one is you'll have to wait for the next series(possibly OVA) to be released once you get threw it.

Cowboy Bebop- You've probably seen it before but if you haven't.... words can't explain. There's no joking around with this series. GET IT WATCHED!! End of story.

Fullmetal Achemist- Another series I watched just recently. I kept putting it aside and putting off watching it. When I ran out of stuff to watch one day I'm soo glad I stuck this on. Good character, good storyline and great concept. You'll enjoy this fantasy series.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex- This is up to it's 2nd series now. If you loved the movie (Ghost in the Shell) then you'll love this series. Story doesn't carry over from the film but makes for some fantastic watching. One of my top favourite series. Mecha, Sci-Fi.

I could go on and on but I just realised the time and I gotta go see a man about a dog. Hope i was in some way helpfull. (sorry for any badenglish or spelling errors, rushing now Embarassed )
You should really just read threw the encyclopedia and seee what you think. The world of anime is your oister my friend.

Uh.. right. Sorry to do this, but I'll have to enforce our unofficial rule and lock this, unless you can redo your thread to make it a lot more specific. Otherwise, everyone, please PM him your suggestions and/or comments.
