I gotta be honest; I watch hentai.

Now, some time ago, I downloaded the first episode of a series called Buttobi CPU. After a bit, I thought, "...Hey, this is like Chobits, only with sex!"

Has anyone else noticed this odd paralell? I mean,spoiler[ both shows are about down-on-their-luck students who find computers via seedy actions, only to find that the computers are kinda crappy. But it turns out they're not, and a whole lot of sexual tension follows.]

Odd, no? Or is it just coincidental?

Probably not a coincidence. Hentai anime does parodies/x-rated versions of anime titles nearly as often as live-action porn does. (Sailor and the 7 Balls, a Sailor Moon/DBZ rip-off, being one of the most famous.)

Just kidding around but maybe its just a coinencidence. I guess I just have to watch Buttobi and then Chobits all over again to see for myself.

Ahh yes Buttobi CPU that was the other hentai that I own. It's actually not that explicit and fairly clean without too much nudity. A few bouncy booby shots but I think some of the things implied in Chobits make it almost as risque if not moreso in some parts, because of Chii's immaturity factor.
