Does Direct2Drive charge a monthly fee? I bought the first episode of Death Note to see if I could download it at my school (since I have dial-up) at home and was unable to do so. The credit card got charged a dollar and I explained to my Dad that the charge was just for the one time download and he was okay with it. But he came back to me recently and told me he was charged another dollar and he’s angry at me and convinced I’ve signed up for a service with monthly fees.

Wait... but isn't it 2$ for one episode?
That said, I was never aware of a mothly fee and I hope there isn't one. |

The price point is right next to the info button. Episodes do cost 1.99 per episode.

Sorry I meant $2. He told me that he got billed for another two dollars the month after and thought it was a monthly fee service. I thought it couldn't be a monthly fee at that price but I don't know. Right now I'm trying to get my account deleted.
