ICv2 reports that Gundam SEED, the latest television series in the franchise and a smash hit in Japan, will be coming to the Cartoon Network for a weekend run this coming April. The date for the run will "roughly coincide" with the release of the manga on April 30. Bandai USA also announced a major merchandising push in the form of action figures, model kits and dioramas based on the series.
