I'd like to start by saying I was very pleased w/ the Sorcerer Hunters series up until the very last episode. Just when you think Zaha Torte is about to win the hunters are resurrected and they've even got new outfits. But 2 minutes later, before they even start fighting, the God of Destruction is resurrected and even though this is what Zaha wanted all along, he now looks scared. The hunter's rush to Carrot's aid and Zaha is dismissed in shame. Zaha is never defeated and I really don't understand how he lost. I badly need closer on this series, so if anyone has any idea what happened or what was supposed to happen, please, please give me an answer.

I didn't watch the anime but I read the manga: Zaha wants the God of Destruction to be resurrected because he thinks magic is the source of all the problems in the world. The god of destruction, once resurrected, shoots Zaha that can't resist and dies.
But what you tell about is just the middle of the manga.
