My current favorite anime: Naruto!

Please tell me this has been seen and adored by you all. This series is great, action, comedy, seriousness, ninjas, super-powers and a half-assed romance. I highly recommend this series if you haven't already been hooked. Over 200 chapters of manga and nearly a hundred episodes (both of which are still being produced weekly).

Stunning characters which you come to love (even if they are the bad guys). Great fighting sequences, great plot plot, mental and physical conflicts are amazing. What I find really fun about the whole concept of the series is basically throwing an American frame-of-mind main character around many Japanese creates a halairious cultural difference and adds a depth which you normally don't see.

Yes. As good as Naruto is (I highly do enjoy it), just make sure not to over promote it. Many people have heard of it, as some people have also gotten sick of it due to overpromotion (not me though). Hope you enjoy Naruto well =P.

and as a sidenote, don't make these "My current favorite anime" posts a habit. K? =P

I honestley have no problem with Naruto's popularity compare to DBZ. I just hope they don't hype it 10 years after it's prime like America is doing with DBZ.

Yeah, I haven't met a person that didn't like Naruto. This is one of those things you give to new anime fans so that they would want to check out other titles. According to other posts that I follow, this is America's current favorite anime.

I liked Naruto, as in past tense.

It was pretty good when u watch a bunch of episode at once. But once I started waiting for new episodes to come out, i realized how much filler are put into each episode, and how much filler episodes are in the serie. Its not a bad serie, just a a little bit overated.

I haven't seen the TV series, but I read the manga. When it came out as an anime, there was alot of buzz, and I didn't check into it. Then when Viz brought the manga over here, I gave it a look. And by now, there were 84 episodes =p. So I downloaded episode 84, and watched it. And that is the only episode I have ever seen, and I liked it.

I have not see Naruto yet so I do not know how the anime is but I have been reading the manga and I enjoy the manga. It always leaves of at a high point leaving the reader to want to buy the next GN.

I don't buy the GNs. I just read it in Jump, because they are ahead.

Ya the manga is much better than the anime. I just collect the anime now and watch the great battles from the manga.

I personally,have never seen the series. (Downloading via torrents is a "No-No"! Wink ) But usually when there is so much hype being passed around a certain series, one tends to be a bit skeptical.(Will it live up to the hype?)
Just like i will be one of the select few that will avoid seeing the Movie; Sky Captain this weekend. As with Naruto, i will await the DVD release thank you very much.

HAHAHAHA no. And if these threads dont stop popping up everywhere with every half-baked 'tard clamouring over each and every single aspect of that show (not saying you're one of them, then again I'm not saying you arent), it's just going to leave a bad impression on me :S

personaly I can just ignore all the "this is the best show ever"


Im atly kinda suprised Im still watching naruto 101 episodes later and I still find it entertaning, other long shows I was burnt out of around ep 40 something *cough* Inu yasha *cough*
