I love that get Ghost Yomi and Zombie Saten in the same season.
I don't want to take a personal dig, but you sound like you're new to anime, or have some idealistic vision of it. They've been doing this stuff since the 70s, thanks to Uncle Go. |

Blood, I wasn't even bashing the show.
I'm actually quite interested in it. My comment was more of a "Only in Japan" style one. I'm not even going to point out your low blow. Wal: I know that Japan has been doing it. I'm just always amazed at how they pull it off so well quite often. |

Huh, that style (especially for the guy) seems quite close to Shiki's. Not that I can blame DEEN, as that style really does suit the zombie theme shows.
Ah, maybe Kyuuta Sakai being on both shows is the reason. |

Well, again, it's in Shiki... I've read a bit of the manga and I didn't get a "comedy" vibe out of it. The manga takes a logical approach to an absurd concept; I'm not sure how that got confused as comedy. To explain it as simply and spoilerlessly as possible: The main characters tries to moeify zombies as his most desirable type of girl but then finds out reality isn't like his fantasies. And that plural is correct; It's really weird as we learn each character's motivation for wanting what happens to happen. I read the series thinking "Will the mangaka go there?" And yes, he did. And again. And again. Was this copy written by someone from the Studio or from someone thinking ZomLuvCom? If the anime holds back, I will be very disappointed.
I could name a few horror movies for you. This isn't a new idea, only a slightly new approach. |
