This sounds really good. Who put this out? and is it printed or digital?

The publisher is Yonder. It came out in July and is 240 pages long.

It's available in paper and on the Kindle.

Didn't know Spirited Away was inspired by a novel from the same author, or that Wonderland is based on her work, as well as the more recent Misaki no Mayoiga. Got to love her supernatural take on her works, hope I can get my hand on this.

@nobahn

It is a novel without an anime or apparently a manga adaptation. The Encyclopedia currently does not have a section for stand alone novels at all. Heck, even those novels that do have an adaptation don't have their own entry. You have to go to the adaptation listing and click on the link to the "hidden" source material.

Given how important novels are as source material these days you would think the Encyclopedia would have a whole separate section for novels. Basically it is out of date.
