posted on by Karen Ressler

The official Japanese website for Arc System Works and 91Act's Blazblue Revolution Reburning (BlazBlue RR) iOS and Android game announced on Monday that the game will end service on November 23 at 3:00 p.m. JST. The staff said that it came to the conclusion that there are too many obstacles in the way of continuing to provide quality service.

Sale of the in-game currency diamonds will end on Tuesday. Unused diamonds will be refunded after service ends in accordance with the law.

The game launched in Japan on October 20, 2016, but it had already launched in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan in July 2015; in Singapore and Malasia in April 2016; and in more than 140 countries in America, Europe, and Asia by June 8, 2016. The global (English-language) Facebook account has not announced that the game is ending service.

The beat 'em up game begins with Ragna as a playable character, and more characters from the BlazBlue franchise can be unlocked.
