PONOS and DeNA are jointly developing the tower defense-style game with Toei Animation using the same system as PONOS' The Battle Cats game. Players can summon characters and attack enemy bases with teams of 10, but a "Hyakki Yagyō" (Parade of Yōkai) mode will allow players to call a large number of yōkai at once. The characters can evolve to change their appearance and level up.

Shigeru Mizuki's supernatural manga Kitaro (GeGeGe no Kitarō) began in 1959 under the name Hakaba Kitarō. The manga has spawned several television series (including one Hakaba Kitarō anime), animated movies, and two live-action films.

The latest anime adaptation premiered on April 1 will run for 50+ episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
