Square Enix is currently listing on its recruitment page that its newly formed 3rd Development Division is working on a "large-scale HD title." Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn producer and director Naoki Yoshida is the head of the new division, which is based on the former "Business Division 5."
The listing states that the division is working on a "new key project" and is "starting a new challenge aimed at the next generation." The new project has already finished early development, and is just about to start on the full-scale main development. The company is looking to recruit those who "have a will to challenge the global industry."
The above image for a new project was previously featured on the website for Business Division 5 starting in early 2016.
Square Enix's recruitment website is also listing Naoki Hamaguchi as the co-director of the Final Fantasy VII PlayStation 4 remake game. Tetsuya Nomura is returning to the remake as its director after serving as the character designer for the original game, and Kazushige Nojima is also returning to write the scenario.
