We asked Kiel: "When did you first get into cosplay photography?"
"I started cosplay photography after I attended Fanime Con (a Northern Californian anime convention) for a few years. I had a very low performance point and shoot camera at the time, so was not excited about taking photos with it. Once I got a DSLR camera and some lenses in 2009, I quickly got into it and have continued to look for more and more opportunities to work with fun and friendly people since. "
Are you a cosplay photographer, or a cosplayer? Each week, we'll be featuring a different cosplay photographer, or cosplayer, and asking them not only to share a little bit about their point of view and work, but also a week's worth of their favorite photos. If you know anyone who would be interested, please e-mail us at [email protected] Thanks!
