Plot Summary:
This one-shot story, a precursor to Rurouni Kenshin, is an extra at the end of one of the volumes of that manga. A young boy in the Sengoku (Warring States) era has been conscripted from his village and separated from the girl he loves. Fleeing battle, he encounters a strong warrior who uses the sword style Hiten Mitsurugi.
