The .hack//Legend of twilight Manga follows a different story than the Anime and is more closely related to the Video Game than the Anime is.

The Character Wataru mentioned by Kamui who gave her the Spear Of Wotan she uses is the main character in the dot Hack Novel //A.I. Buster

The characters Wiseman and Kazu are cameos from the .hack video game - Wiseman was a controllable character, and Kazu was BlackRose's little brother. Others include Balmung, Mistral, and - naturally - Kite and BlackRose. Also, if you look at some of the random background characters in some panels, you can see the .hack game and //SIGN characters Subaru, Tsukasa, Sora, Gardenia, Sanjuro, Ryoko Terajima, Orca, Helba, Mia, Nuke Usagimaru, Kurim, Moonstone, Rachel, Piros, Ginkan (the Crimson Knight), BT, and Natsume, as well as two of the three main girls in //LIMINALITY, Mai and Yuki. Several characters from the .hack novels also appear.
