Trivia:

In volume 5, when Noriko and Kazumi return to Earth, they notice a humanoid shape imprint on the moon. This is a reference to episode 6 of Diebuster, when Diebuster (Nono) crashed on the moon's surface during the final battle.

In volume 5, after Noriko and Kazumi visit Jung Freud's grave, it is revealed that after the Eltreum returned to Earth, Jung became the first President of the Galactic Federation and during the Galactic Civil War in 2489, she became Coach of the Okinawa Space Girls' Academy until she died from space radiation syndrome years later. This is a reference to the Gunbuster Next Generation manga by Tatsuya Soma.
