Pink Lady

Given name (in kanji): ピンク・レディー
Hometown: Aoi-ku, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan
Composed of Mie (Mitsuyo Nemoto) and Kei (Keiko Masuda), Pink Lady was the most successful musical act in the 1970s, generating a record nine number 1 singles from 1976 to 1978. Following a steep decline in popularity and their failed venture into the U.S., the duo disbanded in 1981, only to reunite numerous times since 1984.
