From Software's followup to last year's action RPG Dark Souls

Japanese game developer From Software revealed its Dark Souls II game via a trailer at Spike TV's Video Game Awards on Friday. The game is a sequel to last year's Dark Souls action role-playing game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. From Software had previously developed the Armored Core franchise and Demon's Souls game, for which Dark Souls games serve as a "spiritual sequel."

The website Kotaku is streaming the trailer.
