5 Neat Things to Pre-Order This Week (Dec. 4)

posted on by Bamboo Dong

If you've still got any money in your coffers left over after Black Friday shopping, here's some cool, weird, or awesome merch you can spend it on.

1. Leather Attack on Titan Business Card Holder

Mind your own business (cards) with this classy, leather, made-in-Japan Attack on Titan business card holder from 2PM Works and Garni. It's a little pricey at ¥10,290 ($103), but all your business partners will be subtly impressed.

2. Iwatobi-chan Plush Phone Case... Swimsuit Version

Originally, Iwatobi-chan, the mascot from the popular swim anime Free!, was available as a regular, all-natural plush smartphone case, but someone decided, "Hey, rockhopper penguins wear swim trunks, right?" It's charming, to be sure, and a fun nod to the series, but your call as to if the trunks make it better... or worse. Get ready to field questions from all your friends as to why you have a giant bird on your bag wearing undies.

Iwatobi-chan is selling for ¥2,250 ($23) and is expected to ship in late December.

3. Kuroko's Basketball Knit Caps

Show your support for your favorite Kuroko's Basketball high school team with these knit caps from Premium Bandai. Each cap is selling for ¥3,675 ($37) and is expected to ship later this month.

4. 3D Gundam iPhone Cases

Bandai is taking pre-orders for 3D molded silicone iPhone 5 and 5s cases based on various mobile suits and motifs from Gundam. Each case sells for ¥2,625 after tax ($26) and are scheduled to be released February 2014.

5. Silver Eevee Ring with Swarovski Crystal

Need a special gift for the Pokémon fan in your life? How about this elegant silver Eevee ring from MOVIC? It's adorned with a Swarovski crystal, and even comes in a special case. It won't be cheap, though—each ring is ¥10,500 ($105) after tax. But, with an expected ship date of mid-December, it'll be ready before Christmas.
