Computer-Animated Astro Boy Film to Get Videogame

The Hong Kong animation studio IMAGI and the North American video game publisher D3Publisher have reached an agreement on a videogame based on the upcoming computer-animated film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga series. The video game is slated for worldwide release in the fourth quarter of 2009 for all handheld systems.
Directed by David Bowers (Flushed Away) and written by Timothy Harris (Kindergarden Cop, Trading Places), the Astro Boy film will open in over 3,000 North American theaters on October 23, 2009.
