Wristwatches are inspired by characters from the TV anime Damon slayer, the dial is decorated with Kanazawa gold leaf, a traditional Japanese craft.

Tokyo, Japan – May 14, 2025 – GARRACK is pleased to announce the launch of new wristwatches inspired by characters from the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The new collection will be available from June 5, 2025. New demon-inspired models themed after Doma, Akaza, and Kaigaku will join the lineup.

Product Overview

This wristwatch is a collaboration between the TV anime Damon slayer and the Japanese traditional craft Kanazawa gold leaf. Each dial is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, making every piece a true work of art. The movement—the heart of the watch—is made in Japan and assembled domestically, resulting in a genuine Made-in-Japan wristwatch.

The collection previously featured models inspired by Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Kyojuro Rengoku, Tengen Uzui, Muichiro Tokito, Mitsuri Kanroji, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Obanai Iguro, and Gyomei Himejima. With the addition of the new Doma, Akaza, and Kaigaku models, the lineup now consists of a total of 16 models.

Featuring Traditional Japanese Craftsmanship: Kanazawa Gold Leaf

Renowned for its use in Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion), Kanazawa gold leaf originates from Kanazawa, Japan's leading region for gold leaf production. With its favorable climate and rich history, the city has cultivated a tradition of exceptional craftsmanship. Gold leaf is made by hammering metal into sheets as thin as 0.1 microns—one ten-thousandth of a millimeter. Skilled artisans then hand-apply and color each piece with great care. Since every step is done by hand, each product carries its own unique character.
