Bat-Manga Production Team at Brooklyn Comic Shop

Book designer Chip Kidd, photographer Geoff Spear, and translator Anne Ishii will appear at the Rocketship comic store in Brooklyn, New York for a presentation and signing for their Bat-Manga! The Secret History of Batman in Japan book. The book compiles Jiro Kuwata's 1960s manga re-interpretation of DC Comics' costumed detective hero, and also looks at Batman's presence in Japan when the live-action television series was released. Kidd has designed an exclusive bookplate for people who get their books signed at the event.
