Media Blasters Partners with Distributor Allegro Media

The North American anime licensee Media Blasters announced a partnership with the distributor Allegro Media Group on Friday. Titles will be released through Allegro in the United States and Canada when the new arrangement takes effect on December 6.
John Sirabella, President and CEO of Media Blasters, said that this arrangement frees up "Media Blasters to focus on localizing properties for the US market, developing new features and series, and producing the highest possible quality DVD, Blu-ray, and digitally distributed releases." AnimeWorks, Media Blasters' anime label, has distributed such titles as Ah! My Goddess, Berserk, and Rurouni Kenshin.
