The September issue of Lala magazine announced on Saturday that Masami Tsuda (Kareshi Kanojo no Jijō/Kare Kano/His and Her Circumstances) is ending her Chotto Edo Made historical comedy manga series in the following issue on August 24. Tsuda launched Chotto Edo Made in the same magazine in 2008.
The comedy story is set in an prestigious school in an alternate-world version of modern Japan where the Edo shogunate still rules, over four centuries later. It centers around a son of the ruling Tokugawa clan's Mito family and a daughter of an elite Tokugawa shogun.
The October issue of Lala will also have the one-shot manga "(101-gō-shitsu no) Kuroe" by Tomo Matsumoto and "Nemureru Mori no Hoshi" by Yuki Kure. The current September issue has a drama CD for Natsume's Book of Friends and a special edition of Bisco Hatori's Ouran High School Host Club manga to mark this month's live-action television series version.
