Sugoi Books App Adds Mizuna Kuwabara's Ilegenes Shojo Manga

Peace Maker, Elemental Gelade also added to Android app

The Japanese Internet service provider NEC BIGLOBE announced on Monday that it has added three more titles to its Sugoi Books app for Android devices, including Mizuna Kuwabara and Kachiru Ishizue's 5-volume Ilegenes shojo manga. Kuwabara previously wrote the Mirage of Blaze light novel series, which inspired a manga, a television anime series, and an OVA. Sugoi Books lists the plot of Ilegenes as follows:

Fon has just entered Ilegenes Military Academy, infamous for training soldiers for the frail military jokily referred to as "An Ornament Gun." However, Fon possesses an exceptional ambition within him despite the academy's notorious reputation!

Sugoi Books has also added Nanae Chrono's Peace Maker (Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker), and Mayumi Azuma's Elemental Gelade manga. Tokyopop originally published Chrono's 6-volume Peace Maker manga.

Azuma's 18-volume manga series was first published in North America by Tokyopop under the name Elemental Gelade, but the company only released 12 volumes before it shut down its North American publishing operations. Digital Manga is now rereleasing the series digitally under the name Erementar Gerad.

Sugoi Books extended its availability into Canada in November. The app offers manga in both Japanese and English. Its lineup also includes titles such as Appleseed by Masamune Shirow, Stop! Hibari-kun by Hisashi Eguchi, Kaze no Jin by Hiroshi Motomiya, The Transformers series, the Locke & Key series, and the True Blood series.
