Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions Ren Lite Short's 4th Episode Features Nibutani vs. Dekomori Battle
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Kyoto Animation began streaming the fourth episode of its Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren Lite series of anime shorts on Wednesday. The video features the ending theme “Shin'en ni Mau Senritsu Shanikusai” (A Hair-Raising Carnival Dancing in the Abyss) by ZAQ, who also composed, arranged, and wrote the lyrics for the song.
In the video, Dekomori and Nibutani are the only two remaining in a tense showdown of Old Maid. When Dekomori tries to take one card from Nibutani, she laughs, asking Dekomori if she really wants that card, as it would make her lose as a result. Nibutani explains that whoever loses the game of Old Maid has to go buy things at the store in the pouring rain. In response to pulling a Joker, Dekomori insists that if Nibutani says she's the real "Mori-sama," she would be able to guess which card is the Old Maid, to which Nibutani begins to pray (but soon realizes how embarassing this action is and takes her shyness out on Makoto). In the end, a card rips due to Dekomori refusing to give it up, and Yūta tells the girls that they've both lost. The two continue to bicker as they share an umbrella on the way to the store.
