Yakuza Kiwami's Web Commercial Features Game Creator Toshihiro Nagoshi

The official YouTube channel for the Yakuza (Ryū ga Gotoku) game franchise began streaming a web commercial on Thursday for the Yakuza Kiwami (Ryū ga Gotoku Kiwami) PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 game. The ad starts and ends with Yakuza game series creator and general director Toshihiro Nagoshi, who asks at the beginning of the ad, "Will you be able to step farther into the game?"
Yakuza Kiwami is a full remake of the original Yakuza (Ryū ga Gotoku) game, which was the first in the franchise. The game will ship on January 21 for 6,490 yen (about US$53), and will contain added scenarios and cinematics. Those who purchase Yakuza Kiwami will get access to a demo version of Yakuza 6.
Yakuza 6 is slated in Japan for the PS4 this fall. The game will feature a cameo by famous actor/director Takeshi Kitano (aka Beat Takeshi).
Sega of America released Yakuza 5 in the West on December 8, and the company announced last month that it will localize and release the Yakuza 0 (Ryū ga Gotoku 0: Chikai no Basho) prequel game in the Americas.
