The top comment has spoken: if I Want a Gal Gamer to Praise Me! gets an anime, it's getting the Content Rating Clips treatment, like Nagatoro and Gushing Over before it.
(It's a thing I do. Neurodivergent hyperfixations and all that.)

Glad to see Apothecary Diaries doing well. With Bookworm now over and done with, I think it’s pretty much uncontested as the best LN currently being published in English.
In general I’m not much of an audiobook person (I’m far too easily distracted), but I’ll have to check the Slayers ones out — I never would’ve guessed they’d bring back Lina’s dub actor to record them, and that’s a pretty huge draw.
Shame there doesn’t seem to be any movement on localizing the rest of the Slayers books.

I don't generally listen to audio books myself. Doesn't help immerse me into the story like reading it does.
And it doesn't help that I am one of the very, very, very few people who are NOT a fan of Lisa Ortiz as Lina Inverse. Lisa just sounded too high-pitched and squeaky. Much preferred Cynthia Martinez. Gave Lina a more fiery, pissed-off portrayal that better fit her character.
Sorry.
But I would like the last Slayers omnibus. I've got five omnibi(?), all I need are the final two volumes to complete the set!

Very much getting into audiobooks, ever since discovering that a) they're great to listen to on long drives and b) they're also great to listen to while out for exercise walks. (In fact, I've done those much more regularly since setting them to audiobooks.) I've re-read some entire LN series via audiobooks and both started some new ones that way and gone through the source novels for certain anime that way. Reading them well is its own class of acting art form, and there are some truly excellent readers out there.

Milf party ( part of the Isekai mother fucker trilogy), is a nice revenge Isekai, until it jumps the dragon.
Mc was an older,.Well adjusted dude in Japan ( like bureaucrat villainess, but not bald and he also was fit), so he sees the hero's party members, who are teenagers,.as just kids, even their punishment ( you know that happens in all.revwnge Isekai) is equivalent to getting spanked of you ignore the whole deal about the mc [expletive] their moms. Also he does not really do the last in bad faith. As he was an adult in his previous life, what he is into after getting. Isekaied is adults too,.is not that what the anime fandom has been asking from reincarnation isekai since mushoku tense existed?
Now on another topic, you are wrong with kagurabachi, it achieved memetic success before the first chapter got released. I remember that hero academia and jjk wee on their last arcanas well as mine piece being on something, so raw leaked were at a high when someone leaked kagurabachi and it looked like( and became) perfect meme.material.

Yeah, I have to be doing something with my hands, otherwise I'll fall asleep, too. Playing musou games is good for that, as they don't require a lot of focus -- anything that requires focus and suddenly I won't be hearing the audiobook at all.

The MILF Party manga actually is a decent read.

God, I knew that SPY x FAMILY had escaped orbit and popped off with more mainstream crowds, but I didn't realize to what extent until I saw these figures! 2.2M units sold compared to DanDaDan's 631k is WILD! Especially considering I, and most critics I know, agree that SxF has floundered in the long run while DDD has only grown stronger after its attention-drawing opening.
I think the reason SxF is pulling better numbers than DDD is kinda twofold. One is that the premise is a lot easier to grab for readers. Pretty much everyone knows all the trappings of spy media from a very early age thanks to movies (primarily Bond but there are plenty of others) and TV, and you're just stacking sitcom hijinks on top of that (also every now and then Yor does some downright superhuman stuff as a treat), and basically everyone with a high school education knows at least a little about the Cold War, so they get the setting. Now compare that to DDD, and you are ramping up the crazy by many degrees. I mean right off the bat, while most everyone knows your stereotypical aliens, a lot of the yokai in DDD are, well, yokai. The non-Japanese crowd is gonna recognize obvious stuff like Nessie and Godzilla but a lot like Turbo Granny and Acro-Silky are gonna require explanation (and to be fair, the show/manga usually give it), and anything like that can be a barrier to entry.
The other reason is more awkward to talk about, but, well, I'll just say it. The very start of Dandadan has a scene where Momo gets stripped to her underwear and threatened with sexual assault by a weird alien robo-dong. People see that and a lot of them immediately nope out because it is absolutely a thing people don't want to see and unfortunately enforces a lot of negative preconceptions people have about anime. I have personally had to tell people "okay look I know this is weird but please just finish the first episode I swear you'll like the show". Hell, someone had to say that to me personally (and even then there is still some awkward stuff like all the kids having to strip in the episodes/chapters where they have to swim around to fight Nessie and the Mantisian and the Serpos). That one scene can serve as a barrier to entry. Also on a less awkward note, at the end of the day it is about teen romance, and is just not some folks' jam.

Dandadan is fundamentally shallower than Spy x Family, so it's no surprise that it sells less. Also Spy x Family's had a lot of meaningful developments relatively recently, whether that's in the third season or in the manga.
