Zero Time Dilemma Game's Japanese Introduction Trailer Streamed

posted on by Jordain Haley-Banez
Latest game in Zero Escape series arrives on PS Vita/3DS on June 28, on PC on June 29.

Spike Chunsoft released an in-depth trailer on Wednesday for its third title in the Zero Escape series, Zero Time Dilemma. In the following three-minute video, the nine unlucky participants are introduced, along with gameplay clips.

The end of the video reveals that preorders of the Japanese game will include a limited-edition 48-page booklet.

Spike Chunsoft is releasing the game on the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe on June 28, and on June 30 in Japan. Zero Time Dilemma will be available on Steam on June 29.

The Japanese cast includes:

Kōtarō Uchikoshi is again serving as director and scenario writer for the game.

The game's Steam page describes the plot as follows:

The experiment wasn't supposed to be like this.

Nine participants awaken in an underground facility, imprisoned with a strange black bracelet on their wrists. To escape, they must play a game with deadly consequences. The rules are simple--after six people are killed, the escape hatch will open. Who will live, and who will die? The choice is yours. Let the Decision Game begin...

Chunsoft developed the first two games in the series. Aksys Games released the Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward puzzle adventure game on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in 2013. The game is a sequel to 2009's Nintendo DS game 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.
