Pokémon Go Developer to Fix Bugs That Make Pokémon Harder to Catch

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Game launches in Brazil just before Olympics

The official Twitter account of the Pokémon Go augmented reality game announced on Thursday that the game's developer Niantic Labs is working on fixing bugs that affect the throwing accuracy and players' chances for capturing Pokémon. The bug began affecting players on Tuesday when Pokémon became harder to catch.

Niantic Labs did not reveal when the bug will be patched.

Niantic recently removed Legendary Pokémon from certain players' accounts that were not intended to be in those players' possession.

The Pokémon Go app launched in select countries including the United States on July 6, and has since launched in more than 35 countries. The game launched in Brazil this week, just before the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
