Devil's Third Online PC Game Ends Service in March After 9 Months

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Valhalla Game Studios' game launched in Japan on June 8, 2016

The official website for Valhalla Game Studios' Devil's Third Online game announced on Wednesday that the PC game will end service on March 29, 2017. The game launched in Japan on June 8, 2016.

The game will conduct maintenance on January 25 to prepare for the end of service. Players will be unable to purchase items in the online shop with Nexon points after that date. As of Wednesday, the game is no longer offering refunds for items purchased with Nexon points. Players who already purchased point items will be able to use them after they are no longer available for purchase.

Online game company Nexon announced in November 2015 that it would handle service for Valhalla Game Studios' game within Japan. The PC game was slated for September 2015 when Valhalla Game Studios first announced it in July 2015.

The game is a free-to-play online exclusive game, and it does not include the story mode content in the Wii U version. The Wii U version of the game shipped in Japan, Europe, and Australia in August 2015. The game launched in North America in December 2015.

Valhalla Game Studios describes the Wii U game:

The game's single player mode offers a unique blend of action gameplay and will immerse players in an engrossing storyline set against a background of intrigue and global military conflict. In parallel, its multiplayer mode offers an exciting and deeply tactical gameplay experience where tens of thousands of players can create their own clans and fight over territories across North America.
