Metal Max Xeno PS4 Game Ships in the West in September

NIS America announced on Monday that it will release Metal Max Xeno on PlayStation 4 on September 25 in North America and September 28 in Europe. The company began streaming a trailer that introduces the game's premise and characters.
NIS America will offer a physical limited edition that includes the original soundtrack, art book, iron base pin, and collector's box.
Kadokawa Games released the game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on April 19.
The story of Metal Max Xeno takes place several decades after past entries in the series, and follows humans fighting for survival against a new type of mechanical monster in the ruins of what was once Tokyo. The game is celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary.
The first Metal Max post-apocalyptic role-playing game was released in 1991, followed by Metal Max 2 in 1993. Atlus released one of the franchise installments, Metal Saga, in for North America in 2006, but Metal Max Xeno will be the first game with the Metal Max title to launch overseas.
