Disgaea 1 Launches in the West in October

NIS America announced on Wednesday that Disgaea 1 Complete (Makai Senki Disgaea Refine), the HD remake of the first game in the Disgaea series, will debut for the PlayStation 4 and Switch in North America on October 9 and Europe on October 12. The company began streaming a trailer to accompany the announcement.
The game will have standard physical editions and limited editions on both platforms. The limited edition includes a collector's box, certificate of authenticity, official soundtrack, hardcover art book, enamel pin set, coaster set, Etna mouse pad, Prinny plush cube, and two posters.
The game will ship in Japan on July 26. This year marks the original game's 15th anniversary; the original game shipped for PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2003.
NIS America released the Disgaea 5 Complete game for the PC via Steam on May 23 in North America and May 26 in Europe.
