PS4/PC release will have English subtitles

Bandai Namco Entertainment Southeast Asia began streaming a trailer on Monday for the Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist game, which reveals that it will release the game in Southeast Asia for the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The game will have the Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist is slated for winter on the PS4 in Japan.

The game will involve the stories of both the Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re manga, and will also have online multiplayer. Bandai Namco Entertainment noted that players can choose between the side of ghouls or investigators in the game, with both Haise Sasaki and Ken Kaneki as playable characters.

Sui Ishida's manga also inspired the 2017 Tokyo Ghoul:re Invoke smartphone game, the 2015 Tokyo Ghoul carnaval∫color smartphone game, and the 2015 Tokyo Ghoul Jail PlayStation Vita game.

Ishida serialized Tokyo Ghoul in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, and is now serializing Tokyo Ghoul:re. The manga entered its final arc in February, and ended on July 5. Shueisha published the manga's 15th compiled volume on March 19 and will publish the 16th volume on July 19.

The first season of the Tokyo Ghoul:re anime premiered on April 3. Aniplus-Asia aired the series with English subtitles. The second season will premiere in October.
