Film celebrates app's 3rd anniversary, manga launches on September 10

Game developer Voltage announced on Wednesday that its Liar! Uncover the Truth (Doubt ~Usotsuki Otoko wa Dare?~) smartphone game will get a live-action film adaptation to celebrate the game's third anniversary.

Voltage describes the game:

“Has he been cheating on me?!” A breakup with your cheating boyfriend leads you... ...straight into the arms of ten gorgeous men!

But beware! Nine of these ten guys are no-good liars! Go on dates, see through their lies, and take them out!

Do you have what it takes to find Mr. Right?

Voltage also announced that the game will get a manga adaptation that will launch on the manga app Palcy on September 10. Yoko Kokoda will draw the manga.

Voltage released the game in Japan for iOS and Android in 2015, and released it in English in October 2016.

Voltage established a new subsidiary named Vol Pictures last October. The new company works on planning, development, and sales of film, anime, and television series adaptations of its parent company's properties. Voltage had also established a new "Anime and IP Division" in May 2017.
